Garrett Mitchell

With San Diego threatening to extend their NLDS matchup with Milwaukee, Garrett Mitchell came to the rescue. Leading 3-1 in the eighth inning, the outfielder tracked a deep fly ball off the bat of Manny Machado to the short center-field wall of Petco Park, robbing what would have been a game-tying two-run shot. The Brewers would hang on for the win to reach the NLCS.
