If you wanted to watch an early Home Run Derby, you should have watched the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday night. Facing the New York Mets and three-time Cy Young Award-winner Max Scherzer, the Brewers teed off. Starting in the sixth inning, Rowdy Tellez, Brian Anderson and Garrett Mitchell hit consecutive home runs to balloon their lead to 5-0. Anderson and Mitchell weren’t done yet though, going yard back-to-back again in the seventh against reliever Brooks Raley. The Brewers cruised to a comfortable 9-0 victory.
