Eugenio Suárez・Jesse Winker・Derek Dietrich

The Cincinnati Reds jumped out to a fast start against Jeff Samardzija. After Joey Votto hit a single to put a runner aboard, Eugenio Suarez hit a two-run home run to right field. On the first pitch Jesse Winker saw, he hit a solo home run to right-center field. Then, Derek Dietrich absolutely destroyed the next pitch for the team's third straight home run on three consecutive pitches, giving the Reds an early 4-0 lead.
