Nick Markakis has been a steady presence in his MLB career, carrying a solid .289 batting average and compiling 2,369 career hits. Yet his consistent contributions have resulted in just one MLB All-Star Game selection. However, the steady contributor added a tremendous achievement to his resume as he tied Babe Ruth with his 506th career double, continuing what has been a remarkably underrated career.
