After hitting a home run in the third inning of yesterday's contest between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Pirates, Albert Pujols picked up the 2,214th RBI of his Major League Baseball career, tying him with all-time great Babe Ruth for second on the all-time RBI list. Before, however, in the first inning of the contest, Pujols drove two runs home with a double to left field, priming the home fans at Busch Stadium for this momentous occasion.
