José Abreu・Fernando Tatis Jr.

Two of the most exciting teams in Baseball to watch right now – the White Sox and Padres – are unsurprisingly led by two of the players at the moment – Chicago’s first baseman Jose Abreu and San Diego’s shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. For Jose, this was his third time being honored, and the first time for Fernando. Abreu hit .330 in 28 games with 11 homers, including a record-tying four straight at-bats with a longball. Tatis Jr. finished at .313 for August with 11 homers and 24 RBI. He had lead-off homers in back-to-back games and a grand slam on 8/17 in Texas.
