Joey Wendle・Hunter Renfroe

The Rays trailed, 1-0, through five innings after Jose Altuve hit a first-inning home run. Though the Rays never responded with a home run of their own, the team received a pair of critical hits from Joey Wendle and Hunter Renfroe in a huge, go-ahead sixth inning. Wendle gave his team the lead with a two-RBI single, and Renfroe contributed a two-run double to give the Rays a 5-1 advantage in an eventual Game 3 win.
