On a day when the Padres set a team record for home runs, it should come as no surprise that Fernando was involved. In their 9-5 defeat of the Diamondbacks, the team hit six home runs, a Padres record for a home game. Tatis Jr.’s second inning blast off Madison Bumgarner was one of those six, but it also marked the shortstop’s fourth straight game with a longball. He became just the ninth player 21 years old or younger to have home runs in four straight games in the last 100 years.
