JULY 22, 1964 — Willie Stargell stole the show in this midsummer showdown between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the St. Louis Cardinals. The MLB All-Star slugger went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate, completing the rarely captured cycle. Stargell's jaw-dropping performance included three RBI as he led the way to the 13-2 victory. Willie's cycle at Busch Stadium was the 18th for the Pittsburgh Pirates franchise and the third of four in the 1964 MLB season.
