Willie Stargell

Willie Stargell is one of the finest outfielders ever to have graced a Major League Baseball field, and on this day in 1970, he stunned the Atlanta Braves from the batter's box. Stargell helped his Pittsburgh Pirates to a blowout 20-10 victory by notching five extra-base hits in the contest, accumulating six RBI in the process. Highlighting this other-worldly performance, Stargell clocked two longballs in the game – a three-run blast in the second inning, and a solo homer in the seventh.
