Salvador Pérez

Salvador Perez reached this 1,00th career game yesterday, becoming the 13th player in Kansas City Royals history to reach this mark. The 30-year-old catcher is one of six active catchers in Major League Baseball to reach 1,000 career games. Perez has been the cornerstone of the franchise since his MLB debut on August 10th, 2011. Since then, he has been named to the AL All-Star team six times. Salvador was also the World Series MVP in 2015 which ended a 30-year title drought for the Kansas City Royals.
