Sammy Sosa

In the bottom of the seventh inning in the contest between the Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Brewers. Sammy Sosa connected for his 60th home run of the season. The slugger hailing from San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic, connected on a pitch delivered from Brewers reliever Valerio De Los Santos and launched it well over the left-field wall at Wrigley Field. Sosa's two-run blast made him just the fourth member for the 60-homer club and ignited the Cubs 15-12 comeback win.
