Keibert Ruiz
Repeats history with HR in 1st at-bat of 2021
Keibert Ruiz - 2021 MLB TOPPS NOW® Card 169 - Print Run: 1028
Keibert Ruiz entered game one of the doubleheader against the Chicago Cubs in the seventh inning as a pinch hitter for his first at-bat of the 2021 season. The 22-year-old catcher took the first pitch he saw from Kyle Hendricks deep for a solo shot. With this blast, the Los Angeles Dodgers No. 1 overall prospect repeated history, as he homered in his first at-bat during his Major League debut in 2020.
