Yermín Mercedes・Trevor Rogers

Newcomers Yermin Mercedes and Trevor Rogers have made significant impacts on their respective teams to start off their rookie campaigns. Their outstanding efforts through the first month of the 2021 MLB campaign have brought them the AL and NL Rookie of the Month Awards. “The Yerminator” posted a .415 batting average in April with five homers, including his 485-foot blast on April 8th, which marks the furthest of the season thus far. Down in Miami, Rogers has been lights out, as he owned a 1.29 ERA over five starts with 38 strikeouts over 28 innings pitched.
