Bobby Dalbec

The 2021 season has gotten off to a bit of a slow start for Boston Red first baseman Bobby Dalbec, but the young slugger might have flipped the script on that Friday evening. Down 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Dalbec smashed a go-ahead, two-run home run to give his Club a 4-3 lead and send the limited capacity crowd into a frenzy. The crowd at Fenway Park chanted “Bobby” until the 25-year-old climbed the dugout steps to acknowledge the cheers with a wave.
