The Atlanta Braves middle-infield connection led the way on offense for the 5-1 victory over the Washington Nationals. Both Dansby Swanson and Ozzie Albies recorded their 500th career hit in the contest as the duo combined for four of the team's five RBI. Swanson reached number 500 on a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning that was sent 440 feet to left-field with an exit velocity of 107.3 mph, per Statcast. An inning later, Albies collected his 500th career hit with an RBI double to right-field for his third hit of the contest.
