Giancarlo Stanton found himself up with the bases loaded, in the bottom of the fifth inning, in the series opener against the Baltimore Orioles. Stanton locked in on an 0-1 count fastball and sent a ball into the left-center-field terrace at Yankee Stadium. The grand slam left Giancarlo's bat at 115.1 mph and traveled an astonishing 471 feet. This blast broke the game open and paved the way for the 7-0 victory.
