Defensive masterclass

Fernando Alonso produced an incredible defensive masterclass to take P5 at the Formula Magyar Nagydij 2021. The veteran was instrumental in helping his teammate Esteban Ocon claim his first Formula 1 victory. The Spaniard produced some of the best driving of the race, particularly in a duel with Lewis Hamilton. Alonso held off the quicker Mercedes for lap after lap in an incredible display of defensive driving. It was enough to give Ocon the time he needed to take his maiden victory in F1 with Alonso taking P5.
