Mitch Haniger stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the 10th inning with the scored tied, 5-5, and a runner on second base. The 6-foot-2 slugger smoked the offering from J.P. Feyereisen and lined it to left field towards the foul line for a walk-off base hit. Haniger's extra-innings heroics cemented the third straight victory for the Seattle Mariners and clinched the series win over the Tampa Bay Rays.
