Kyle Schwarber
TIES MLB RECORD WITH 5 HRs IN 2 GAMES
Washington Washington Nationals
Kyle Schwarber's offensive explosion at the plate led the way in the 5-2 victory over the New York Mets. The left-handed slugger nearly accounted for all of the Washington Nationals offense by going 3-for-4 with three longballs and four RBI. With this effort, Schwarber has now tied the MLB record for the most home runs in a two-game span with five. The last person to accomplish this feat was Bryce Harper in 2015 also with the Washington Nationals. Kyle has tallied nine homers over the Club's last 10 games which is the most in Washington Nationals/Montreal Expos history.
