Adam Wainwright took the mound for the St. Louis Cardinals in game one of the double header against the Atlanta Braves. The 6-foot-7 hurler from Brunswick, GA, was brilliant as he scattered just three hits, allowed one run and struck out 11 over the course of his seven-inning complete game. This was Wainwright's 26th complete game, tying Justin Verlander for the most among active pitchers. "I pitched a pretty good game on Mother's Day, right?" Wainwright said. "I can't leave the dads hanging."
