In the top of the ninth inning, Pete Alonso deposited a ball into the left-field seats that made him the fastest player to 70 home runs in MLB history. The New York Mets star accomplished this feat in 220 games, defeating the previous record of 231 games set by New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge.
