With two hits already on the night, and with his team down by two in the bottom of the ninth, Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames knew he had to put a good swing on the ball. On a 1-0 count, the 25-year-old blasted a two-run home run to send Friday's contest with the Colorado Rockies into extra innings, his 10th homer of the season. Teammate Keston Hiura lifted a sacrifice fly two innings later to complete the comeback and provide the walkoff victory.
