The Henderson, Nevada, native hit his first longball of the contest in the bottom of the second inning as he took a Casey Mize fastball to right field at a recorded exit velocity of 109.4 mph with an expected distance traveled of 440 feet, per Statcast. Gallo would follow up with another towering shot to right-center field, but this time with a recorded exit velocity of 111.6 mph and an expected distance traveled of 462 feet.
