Jacob reached this milestone in his 198th career start in the top of the fourth inning as Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames stepped up to bat. deGrom fired a 100-mph fastball to catch him looking for strike three. Yu Darvish of the San Diego Padres holds the MLB record as he accomplished this feat in just his 197th career start earlier this year.
