Fernando turned on a 96-mph fastball, delivered from Max Scherzer, with an exit velocity of 113.3 mph and a projected distance of 433 feet for a towering solo shot. With this blast, Tati Jr. now owns the record for most longballs for a shortstop before the All-Star break. He is also the first player in the history of the franchise to have 20 homers and 20 stolen bases before the All-Star break.
