Gavin Sheets delivered a clutch two-run single in the bottom of the 8th inning to lift the White Sox over the Tigers, 4-3. The White Sox were down 3-2 in the 8th when Sheets stepped up with runners on first and second and one out. His hit to right field scored both runners and gave Chicago the lead for good. Sheets finished 1-for-3 with a run batted in on the night.
