The 31-year-old from New Britain, Connecticut, darted to left-center field to cover 79 feet in 4.6 seconds and left his feet for a superman-like catch to rob Brandon Nimmo of extra-bases. Springer was on a mission from the crack of the bat and hovered in the air for the potential catch of the year.
