For the second consecutive night, Jorge Soler left the yard twice with two towering longballs. The 6-foot-4 designated hitter from La Habana, Cuba, connected for his first blast in the bottom of the second inning. Soler’s initial homer came off an 87-mph sinker, delivered from Dallas Keuchel, and traveled an estimated distance of 449 feet with an exit velocity of 110.7 mph, per Statcast. In his next at-bat, Jorge parked an 85-mph cutter over the left-field wall for his second solo shot. He would go on to finish the contest 2-for-4 with two RBI in the Kansas City Royals win.
