Christian Yelich set the tone for the Milwaukee Brewers in their 9-6 victory over the Washington Nationals with a spectacular night at the plate. The former National League MVP began his offensive barrage in the bottom of the first inning with a solo home run to deep right-center field. Yelich followed up in the bottom of the fifth inning with an RBI single and then connected for a grand slam in the bottom of the eighth inning. Christian would end the contest 3-for-5 with three runs scored, two longballs and six total RBI.
