Heading into Saturday's matchup versus AL Central rival Chicago White Sox, Salvador Perez was tied with Alex Gordon for fourth all-time in Kansas City Royals history with 190 home runs. Perez, who is a having a career-year in terms of power numbers, broke that tie pretty quickly with a two-run home run in the bottom of the third inning. Salvador reached the 40-homer mark with another blast in the bottom of the fifth inning, giving him five RBI on the day.
