Robbie Ray set the tone for the Toronto Blue Jays 6-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays with another outstanding performance on the mound. The Brentwood, Tennessee, southpaw scattered just four hits over seven innings of one-run ball and struck out 13 batters. With this effort, Ray became the second pitcher in franchise history to have double-digit games of 10-plus strikeouts in a season. The last pitcher to accomplish this was Roger Clemens in 1997 and 1998.
