Robbie Ray

Robbie Ray has been named the 2021 American League Cy Young Award winner after a dominant campaign on the mound in his age-30 season. The southpaw from Brentwood, Tennessee, became the fifth Toronto Blue Jays pitcher to receive this honor and the first since Roy Halladay in 2003. Ray finished the year leading the American League in ERA (2.84), innings pitched (193.1), strikeouts (248) and WHIP (1.045).
