Joc Pederson delivered a go-ahead RBI single in the sixth inning, driving in Gavin Lux to give the Dodgers a 3-2 lead. The hit came off of a 2-2 pitch from Anthony Swarzak, who was unable to escape the jam. Pederson's clutch hit extended the Dodgers' lead and proved to be the difference in the game.
