Manny Machado

Manny Machado wasted no time in revving up the San Diego Padres offense in last night's Game 2 of the National League Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Batting third in the Padres lineup, Machado went long in his first at-bat, crushing a pitch from Clayton Kershaw to hand his Club an early-game lead. Machado, who picked up another RBI later in the contest, did much to ensure his Padres would leave Game 2 with a series-tying victory, and that they did, 5-3.
