In last night’s ALDS Game 4 between the New York Yankees and the Cleveland Guardians, Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo opened his Club’s account in the first inning en route to their eventual 4-2 victory. Rizzo sent a pitch from Guardians starter Cal Quantrill to shallow center field, scoring teammate Gleyber Torres for the first run of the contest. With the series now tied two games each, Rizzo’s Yankees must win Game 5 to keep their 2022 campaign alive.
