With 18,000 fans in the Yankee Stadium stands wielding a bobblehead with his likeness, New York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo gave more reasons for the Bronx faithful to cheer on Friday night. The 33-year-old first baseman blasted two home runs and plated three runs in what was an important 6-5 win over visiting rivals, the Tampa Bay Rays. This was Rizzo’s second multi-homer game of the season, having first done the trick on April 13 versus Minnesota.
