Last night, Major League Baseball history was made when the Houston Astros, for the very first time ever, threw for two immaculate innings in the same contest. To note, two immaculate innings had never even been pitched on the same day before in MLB history. What's more, these immaculate innings were achieved off the same three batters. Astros hurler Luis Garcia and Phil Maton were the history makers after throwing the 107th and 108th immaculate innings in MLB history, respectively. This jaw dropping, historical feat helped the Astros along to their 9-2 victory over the Texas Rangers.
