Nolan Ryan

MAY 15, 1973 — Nolan Ryan would go on to ultimately throw a whopping seven no-hitters throughout his Major League Baseball career, but the very first of them came in a game that saw his California Angels take on the Kansas City Royals. What’s more, Ryan threw this no-hitter with an incredible 12 strikeouts and only three walks. Furthermore, he did it all in under 100 pitches, making the passing of this milestone even more impressive.
