Angels pitcher/designated hitter Shohei Ohtani continued a dazzling stretch of dominant pitching in Wednesday night’s contest with the visiting Houston Astros. With his twelve strikeouts over six innings, the 28-year-old phenom becomes just the sixth pitcher since 1913 with a four-game stretch of 45 strikeouts and one or fewer earned runs. Ohtani is also just the second pitcher in Angels history with four consecutive games of 10-plus strikeouts, joining Nolan Ryan with that honor.
