Miami Marlins left-handed hurler Braxton Garrett had an incredible on-the-mound performance in yesterday's contest between his Club and the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 24-year-old, Foley, Alabama native notched a new career-high single-game strikeout tally with 11 after throwing for six scoreless innings. Furthermore, Garrett allowed just two hits and two walks in this impressive start, setting his Club up to take home their eventual 3-2 victory in extra innings.
