MAY 24, 2007— Few Major League Baseball players have had the consistency and dependability of Ichiro Suzuki, so it should come as no surprise that in the Japanese-born outfielder's 1,000th MLB game, he had a more-than solid performance. Ichiro recorded three hits, upping his career total to 1,414, leaving him just two behind only Al Simmons for hits in a player's first 1,000 games.
