The historical 2024 season continued for the superstar on Friday with his steal of second base in the second inning. Ohtani didn't hesitate to use his wheels to collect his 57th swipe, surpassing Baseball icon Ichiro for the most single-season stolen bases by a Japanese player. "He is somebody I admire and look up to," Ohtani expressed on his fellow countryman.
