Carlos Sainz

Scuderia Ferrari's Carlos Sainz started the race in P18 but finished in P4 in an impressive race at the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO D'ITALIA 2022. Sainz had been quick all weekend and was in 3rd position after Saturday's qualifying session. However, a grid penalty saw Sainz bumped down to P18 which could have derailed his weekend. The Spaniard was not deterred though and started excellently. Such was his pace and determination, Sainz made his way through the field and finished in the top 4 - a remarkable feat of driving that will no doubt please Scuderia Ferrari fans in the team's home race.
