Whit Merrifield

Former Kansas City Royals second baseman Whit Merrifield was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays yesterday just before the 2022 MLB Trade Deadline. Merrifield, who was exchanged for top prospects Samad Taylor and Max Castillo, is hoping his stay in Canada can bring the Blue Jays closer to their Postseason goals.
