Miami Marlins right-handed starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara extended his record to 10-4 after his stunning, complete-game performance against the Cincinnati Reds last night. Incredibly, Alcantara kept the Reds to zero, allowing just six hits over the course of this shutout start. The 26-year-old, after this jaw-dropping performance, lowered his ERA to 1.88, which is the lowest for any pitcher in the National League. Alcantara's amazing performance paved the way for his Marlins to pick up their 3-0 victory.
