Shea Langeliers

Oakland Athletics call-up designated hitter Shea Langeliers made his Major League Baseball debut in Tuesday night’s contest between his Athletics and the Texas Rangers. In his very first MLB at-bat, on the first pitch, Langeliers connected with a ball from Rangers starter Kohei Arihara to launch a double as the first hit of his MLB career. The 24-year-old, Portland, Oregon native grew up a Texas Rangers fan; however, in last night’s contest, he proudly helped his Athletics best them, 5-1.
