Yesterday afternoon, the Texas Rangers clobbered the Colorado Rockies, 16-4, and it was Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe who had the most significant offensive contribution to this blowout victory. Lowe notched five RBI over the course of the contest and his performance was highlighted by his eighth-inning, three-run blast off Colorado Rockies relief man Robert Stephenson. The contest, its result, and certainly Lowe’s jaw-dropping performance gave Rangers fans a whole lot to celebrate.
