In last night's meeting between his Atlanta Braves and the Colorado Rockies, Spencer Strider had an incredible on-the-mound performance, notching an astonishing 16 strikeouts en route to his Club's 3-0 victory. Incredibly, this is the most strikeouts collected in a single game by a Braves pitcher in the franchise's history, a feat that's impossible to understate. What's more, Strider's eight-inning performance, in which he allowed just two hits and walked no Colorado batters, was just the 17th start of the rookie hurler's Major League Baseball career.
