Spencer Strider has been the definition of an ace all season long for the Atlanta Braves. He showed it again in Wednesday's division-clinching win over the Philadelphia Phillies, tossing seven innings of one-run ball, to go along with nine strikeouts. His career punchout total now sits at 424, giving him the most whiffs in MLB history for a pitcher within his first 50 career starts. Granted, this was 24-year-old's 49th start, so he'll have another shot to add more swings-and-misses to his total in his next start.
